I the undersigned declare that the motorcycles that I am riding are in good safe working condition.
I take full responsibility in respect of the condition of my motorcycle.
I shall abide by any decision directed at me by the Blackhill MX Track Committee and understand and respect their decisions are for the safety of the track and the riders.
I am aware that the sport of Motorcycle Riding might a) cause me injury; serious or otherwise b) damage my property.
I wish to take part in Racing at Waihi's Blackhill MX Track despite the above risks.
Either I, or anyone associated or connected with me will make any claim against you or your volunteers, officers, employees or agents in respect of: a) any injury suffered by me; or b) any damage to any of my property regardless of how the injury or damage occurs.
I will indemnify you against all claims, damages or losses (including costs) which you incur as the direct or indirect result of any injury to me or damage to my property.
I am physically fit and there is no health or other reason why I should not participate in the sport of Motorcycle Riding.
I am aware that this disclaimer will not affect any legal obligations you have to me which you cannot contract out of under NZ Law.
I agree that in this disclaimer “my property” includes any property owned by me or in my possession or under my control.
I agree that this disclaimer will be binding on my family, my heirs, my legal assigns and my administrators and executors.
I consent to the details contained in this form being held by Waihi's Blackhill MX Track for the purpose of Motorcycling in general. I acknowledge my right to access and correction of this information. The consent is given in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
Protective Clothing must be worn at all times. It is compulsory to wear a helmet and boots, but we highly encourage chest protectors, long protective jersey and pants, neck protectors, goggles and gloves.
Where the rider is under the age of 16 years old, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/supervisor at all times whilst at the track.
All visitors/spectators that you bring into the Blackhill MX track area are your sole responsibility and must abide by our rules.
If I do not lock the gates after I/We go through it, then; I/We understand and agree that our key may be taken off us and use of the track will be seized.
BLACKHILL MX TRACK COMMITTEE ADVISE THAT YOU NEVER RIDE ON YOUR OWN. Always have someone with you in case of an emergency and a operational cell phone.
DOGS MUST STRICTLY BE ON A LEAD or you may be asked to leave.
Blackhill MX Track is also a working farm, NO plastic tear offs to be used at the track and remove all your rubbish on departure.
The key only to be used by Member Key Holder, if key is misused or used by another person other than the key holder; the committee has the right to take the key off the member and seize all riding from that member to Blackhill MX Track. Creating a copy or sharing of key is prohibited.
All keys remain the property of Blackhill MX Track.
